England Day 12: Dartmoor! (AKA my favourite place in Devon)

Hello all!

On my twelfth day in England, my true love gave to me... DARTMOOR. This magestic place is straight out of Lord of The Rings meets Harry Potter, the English countryside stretching out beneath you as far as the eye can see. We parked at the bottom of the hill leading up to Haytor, the cliffy rock formation that stands solitary and brooding alone in a field of emerald grass and purple heather. We walked slowly up to the rocks, wandering over hills and valleys and stopping to take pictures of cows, wild horses, and a family snap at Haytor Quarry, the little lake beneath the towering rocks.

Climbing the rocks always proves more difficult than expected, and this time was no different. Clambering across rocks and cracks with a heavy DSLR around your neck always makes for fun times. Anyways, we made it to the top, and what a beautiful peak it was.

Climbing!

Made it. Here's the twin peak.

Little moments like these.

Love always,
Coral
